Would you like to have a more energy efficient home? I know I certainly would.
Energy bills seem to be one of the highest bills we have yet their scale is not inevitable. We can all be more energy efficient in so many ways. It can take a little investment, research and creativity but it is absolutely do able and worthwhile from both an environmental and financial health aspect!
Here is a little look at the whole house and what can be done in each room in order to be more energy efficient (I must change my light bulbs!!)
The infographic was created by Boiler Juice who are the UK’s no. 1 supplier of heating oil. Do you know what heating oil is? I have to confess I didn’t have a clue myself!
Heating Oil
Heating oil is one of the most popular forms of heating for homes that do not have access to the main gas grid. As such, it is usually used in properties that are located in rural or remote areas, where other forms of heating are not readily available
1.5 million homes in the UK use heating oil (also known as boiler juice) and before it was discovered people often used whale oil to heat their homes instead! As well as heat homes, it can also be used to power farming equipment, construction vehicles and even jet-engined aircrafts.
Who knew! (well not me!)
Boiler Juice guarantee best prices and allow payments to be spread as well as group savings if you book when they deliver in your area. Love this money saving idea behind group savings as well as carbon footprint reduction, It is efficient for everyone and should be the way forward with such business. Communities particularly rural ones need to be served like this.
