The power of one piece of furniture to transform a room is simple astounding.
Our conservatory has long been a ‘creative room’ We store all our arts and crafts materials in there and about 8 guitars as well as a huge amount of board games. It is what you might call crowded (that may well be a euphemism for messy.) We used to call it the playroom but my children are now 8 and 11 and that would rather embarrass them these days so we call it the conservatory but in all honesty it’s real name should be ‘the dumping ground’. If we don’t know where to put something that’s where we put it.
Think I am exaggerating…take a look for yourself.
Something needed to change. I envisaged it costing me £100’s of pounds and taking enormous amount of effort yet actually in reality it took 1/2 a day to transform this room, a lot of black bags and a beautiful sideboard from Furniture choice
The Sapporo White High Gloss Sideboard (£349.99) came ready assembled (thank goodness) and it really is a beautiful piece of furniture – a pleasure for us to review. Such sleek simple lines.
Specifications:
- Overall Length: 100.0cm
- Overall Height: 85.0cm
- Overall Width: 34.0cm
The Sapparo has 2 optional internal shelves which are super easy to fit.
It is really strong and sturdy and comes with deatchable chrome feet.. This really is a lovely sideboard.
We have had so many compliments on it. One of my favourite things is the lack of handles as I think this adds to the streamlined appearance and I love the self closing door action – so smooth.
After a LOT of effort and a few trips to the tip I would say our conservatory looks 100% more lovely and much more a relaxing and fun room than the mess it was!
Storage is SO important and if it is going to be on view you do want it to be beautiful too. Amazing the transformative power of a really good piece of furniture.
