I do love my kitchen but it really is in serious need of modernising. I have been doing some pondering on the top items for a modern kitchen and I have to say I am feeling inspired.
Double oven
For those who love to cook and bake double ovens are invaluable. A double oven combines two ovens into the same kitchen appliance, allowing multiple meals/dishes/bakes to be prepared at the same. saves a lot of hanging around the kitchen!

Water Softener
if there is hard water where you live a water softener can make a huge difference.Water softening is the removal of calcium, magnesium, and certain other metal cations in hard water. Soft water is better for you r skin the environment you appliances and your pocket. This is a really worthwhile and practical; addition to any modern kitchen
Recycling
We all recycle these days but we could all probably do a bit more. I think a little compost bin and great recycling bins make the job just so much easier and are important additions to a modern kitchen
Coffee maker
Having lovely coffee is one of life’s absolute pleasure and every modern kitchen requires a super duper coffee maker. I love the sleek look of the Nespresso Inissia which is also conveniently compact and simple to use.
Mixer
I have recently fallen rathe rin love with baking and have come to consider a mixer as an essential piece of kit saving mess and work and making cakes rise so much better. Oh how my heary longs for this icy blue kitchenaid. Perfect for a modern kitchen and for those of us who really do love to coook.
