It is no secret that I adore my garden and I always have my eye out for a bargain planter. I do adore upcycled planters. There are a fair few on my Thrifty Home Pinterest board if you fancy a look. Pinterest is a great place to be inspired by upcycling projects
Plants really do look good in pretty much anything!
I (along with two other blogger) have been challenged this week by Amanda from The Ana Mum Diary to find a beautiful planter. I decided to make sure mine was a thrifty purchase too.
I have found a lovely planter idea that is on budget and just a little bit different. it is a living wall planter.
Much as I love garden centres I do say look around for planters as supermarkets and homeware stores often have more thrifty options.
I think it looks like live garden art!
It is from Wilkinsons and costs £15 which I think is quite a good deal for something so ‘different’
Designed for outdoor walls only this planter can be used with succulents, foliage plants and annuals.
What would I fill it with…hmmm…
or perhaps these beautiful fuchsia
You could even mix your colour s and plants up whatever you wish on this living canvas. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.
So this is my planter. Have a look at the planters chosen by …..
Amanda at the Ana Mum Diary (vintage)
Penny at A Residence (rustic)
Jen at Love Chic Living (contemporary)
Which one do you like best? Do let me know !
