Flower buckets
I think it is really important to have an inviting entrance to your home.
My personal preference are gorgeous, shiny, brightly coloured front doors preferably in royal blue or pillar box red with big brass knockers.
Sadly our current door is PVC white and non too exciting.
No worries, there is much that can be done, from gorgeous doormats to a little bit of DIY inspiration.
Last night I noticed a few fallen flowers in our garden and I had some cut flowers that were just going over. A while ago on pinterest I saw a gorgeous bucket of flowers. …I have no idea where this was so I cannot credit it..but oh how pretty it looked. I decided to have a go at creating my own version of the flower bucket!
All you need is a Galvanised Metal Bucket and lots of pretty flowers. I went for a mix of colours but it would look equally gorgeous all the same flower and colour I think.
Doesn’t it look pretty. What lovely way top welcome guests to your home or even just the postie! It has made me smile all day today. An inviting doorway indeed!
I simply filled the bucket all the way up with water and floated the flower heads with just a bit of stalk. Simple and welcoming flower buckets take mere minutes.
As you know I am a big lover of colour and this post on how to decorate your home with happy colours has really made me smile
