MatalanDirect.com sent me this lovely Quinn Corner Bookcase to review last week from their best selling Quinn range

I have to say we opened it with a little trepidation. I avoid assemble yourself pieces as much as possible because quite frankly I am hopeless and I have ruined a fair few flat pack items in my time.

My partner Jon and his friend Mark set to work on it on a sunny Sunday and it took them about 15 minutes and was declared ‘super simple.’ They felt it could easily have been done by one person too. Great stuff!

The bookcase was not only easy to assemble but is a great space saving design in a funky ladder style. I was hoping it was going to add some much needed character and storage to a rather forlorn par of my bedroom.

Look how absolutely fantastic it looks.

I have to say we are completely delighted with it. Simple, stylish and useful it is a brilliant piece of furniture. It is an absolute bargain too at just £55.
